Create your vision statement

Your wellness vision is a creative statement developed by you that reveals your highest potential and can include physical, emotional, social, spiritual and financial areas of your life. A wellness vision empowers you to see new possibilities along with a clear direction. It allows you to activate your imagination and then think, feel, speak and ultimately see you can reach your desired goal.  

​A wellness vision is a tool your health coach uses to help you move to new levels of well-being by connecting you to your inner wisdom.  From exercise programming and nutritional guidance to support and motivation, your health coach will take a holistic approach utilizing the science behind true behavior modification while working one-on-one with you.

Relationship coaching 

 The process starts with engagement and building trust between you and your health coach. To assist with a successful and effective coach-client relationship, health coaches establish an understanding of the psychological, behavioral and emotional needs and characteristics of you as an individual. That understanding begins by identifying your unique personality through open communication and active listening. The focus of health coaching is on the present rather than the past. This allows you to express their desire to change your lifestyle and identify what motivates you moving forward rather than focusing on past failures.

Create new health strategies

​From lack of time to financial constraints, inclement weather, injury or medical issues, there are a number of environmental and lifestyle factors that often serve as external barriers to people trying to lose weight or improve their overall health. Coupled with internal barriers such as low self-esteem and intimidation about exercising in front of others, a health coach will work with you to diffuse anxieties and identify misconceptions that may be standing in the way of you reaching your goals. Although obstacles are inevitable, with the right systems in place a health coach will arm you with the skills you need to cope with current and future barriers and provide you with strategies to help you get back on track following temporary slip ups.
